Hello, thank you for visiting us. We’ve put together a comprehensive list of our most asked questions.

  • Bring along a Pilates or yoga mat. A hand towel and a water bottle.

  • We have a 3 hour cancellation policy for group classes and a 12 hour cancellation policy for private sessions.

    To avoid losing your full payment please cancel prior to your session.

  • Memberships are directly debited from your nominated account each week until the full agreed amount is paid.

    At the conclusion of your membership terms, your membership is automatically cancelled and you will not be charged anything further.

    Our memberships come with a different expiry date to our casual packages so please be familiar with your expiry date when you sign up. The expiry date is available on your Order Receipt (Soul Flexible Receipt).

    If you are sick or miss a week you can do a make-up class. If you cannot attend one week, you can attend two classes the following week.

    ** Please allow 24 hours for your membership to be processed and set up for you.

  • If it's been some time since you've exercised, we recommend that you start with Pilates and then move into yoga. Pilates helps you to build strong movement foundations which makes the transition into yoga easier. If you don’t want to do Pilates first, we recommend that you take our Yoga class at your own pace.

  • You are welcome to attend any of our classes. Modifications and options are given in each class so that you can safely work to your fitness level.

  • We do not offer group Reformer classes. Our private home studio is fully equipped. We have two Reformers that our clients train on during their private sessions.

  • If you are in your 1st trimester you can attend any of our group classes. If you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimester we offer Private Studio training so that we can customise a program specifically to you and your little ones needs.

  • Yes, you can attend any of our group classe. We recommend you pre-book your classes. Your intro offer comes with a one-month expiry date which cannot be extended.

  • Pilates isn’t claimable through health insurance or Medicare. If you'd like to use Private Health I recommend you contact your local Physiotherapist.

  • Yes, we recommend you attend Private Studio Pilates to assist with injury rehab and prevention of future injuries - once you have recovered from your injury we recommend you move into group classes.

  • Pilates has been proven to be the most effective treatment for lower back pain.

    If you have chronic lower back pain we recommend that you begin with private sessions before attending group classes.

  • Yes, your daughter is welcome to attend with you if she is 16 or above.

  • Yes. We generally run classes all year round so you can start when you are ready.

    FYI - we close over the Christmas Break.

  • Yes, you must attend an Initial Consultation (IC) prior to attending any of our private sessions or private small group training sessions.

    The IC is vital for us to get to know each other and for the perfect program to be written for you.

  • Yes, there is plenty of free parking.

  • To avoid losing your full class payment you are required to cancel your class 3-hours prior to the class start time.

  • If you are seeing an Allied Health Professional and your injury is being managed we recommend you try our Basic class on a Monday at 5.30pm. This class is slower paced and is an important building block to learning the basics to prevent future injuries.

    If you are not seeing an Allied Health Professional and your injury is currently affecting your ability to move, you are in pain, certain movements or exercises increase your pain - we recommend you book an Initial Consultation with Jodie.

  • There isn’t a creche service available at Baker’s House.

    If you do private training please ask Jodie directly. Children are welcome to attend private training.
